How do we do it ?

We will reshape your seat into one that is customized to meet your needs. We have rebuilt hundreds of seats.  Our customers have always been satisfied. 

Depending on your needs we can reshape your seatpan by cutting some sections or adding to other sections.  For plastic seatpans we fiberglass in new sections, for metal pans we will weld in new sections as necessary.  Once we get to the desired shape we will begin forming the shape of the new seat with new foam and gel pads.  We can adjust your riding position if you want.  Are you tall and want to stretch out?  We will move you back.  Do you feel that you are stretching for the handlebars?  We can move you forward.  Having trouble reaching the ground?  We can lower the seat.  When the final shape is arrived at we then begin the covering process.

The foam has been cut away and the seat pan is being trimmed next.

 Here the seat is beginning to take it's new shape.  You can see the right side of the seatpan has been cut while the left side shows the original profile.

In the past 22 years, we have covered seats in almost any material you can imagine.  Do you want your seat to have a smooth appearance?  Want it pleated?  How about buttons?  We are experienced in stitching custom patterns into the material as well.  If you can describe it, we can stitch it!

How about this?  Our customer wanted to have flames stitched into the leather.  (click on picture to see larger image)

This touring seat has been narrowed at the hips, widened in the thigh area, the back rest has been moved back so that the tall rider has more leg room.  The passenger seat has been radically streamlined without sacrificing comfort.

This stock seat is about to be transformed!

Your seat can be a unique piece.  You choose the shape, material, color, stitching, and accessories.

Look at this transformation!  The cover the stock seat was removed, the hard, stock foam was cut out, the seatpan was reshaped, two new layers of compliant foam were laid in, a custom shaped gel pad was installed, and a custom cover was made. (click on the images)

Notice that textured material was used for the passenger seat while smooth material and custom flame stitching was used for the rider seat.
